A summer hasnt had this much rain since Rihanna released Umbrella, and here at HB Towers, were embracing the grotty weather. Well, were getting used to it anyway. Gone are the days of us moping around, muttering under our breath about our soggy shoes, rubbish umbrellas or lack of coat. Were getting rain-ready.
First step: remember your brolly. Make it a goodun. Dont go for the cheap option just because it looks nice. We know most umbrellas do crack under the pressure, but a trusty one will see you through the seasons. Think big. Think cocoon.
Aside from your umbrella, you need the right shoes. It being festival season, wellies are fashionable anyway. If youre not feeling up to them, go for some plastic brogues. Pack a waterproof coat, or even better that preserve of the 90s super mum the cag in a bag. Dont mock it until you find yourself in a torrential downpour and youre caught short in well, shorts.
