D&G star and animal print dress

D&G have launched a micro-trend that’s set to go stellar on the high street next season; the star print. Their autumn/winter 2011 collection featured flowing, long-sleeved star-printed dresses in different combinations of black, blue, pink and white.

It’s less stars and stripes, more a cutesy alternative to the polka dot, and this is one trend you can easily get a head start on now. Wear yours with plain basics, or if you’re really fashion-forward, go for an animal print in a corresponding shade. Think ocelot print with gold stars, or zebra print with monochrome stars, like this dress from D&G.
