Is it really almost a year ago that crowds swamped Oxford Circus to catch a glimpse of the world's biggest fashion icon strike a pose in the window of Topshop? A little floral dress, an asymmetrical cocktail number in lemon sherbet and scoop-neck vests were the sell-outs of the Kate Moss Topshop collection - take one - as shoppers frantically grabbed 10 of each style (they could always be sold for a profit on eBay), while perplexed-looking males, dispatched by absent girlfriends, squawked on mobile phones with poor reception (the collection is housed one-below ground floor).
This time around, light as a feather chiffon dresses and blouses, Aztec prints and 1940s florals all play a part in Kate Moss Topshop - take five. Gypsy-inspired broderie anglaise adorns a midnight-blue mini dress, 1950s prom-style cotton dresses come with knife-pleat details, and there's a gorgeous navy blazer with an embroidered anchor badge adorning the lapel.
A year on, the hype may have waned, but Kate Moss the designer is only getting better. - Danielle Radojcin
