Karl Lagerfeld needs no introduction, but here is one anyway; the Kaiser has been designing for over thirty years for both the House of Chanel and his numerous partnerships with other brands (Fendi, Hogan, Diet Coke...you name it, hes designed it). He is a prolifically creative person, obsessed with detail and constantly generating ideas, but it seems his current roster of collections is not enough to keep Karl busy!
Launching on January 25 2012, Karl Lagerfeld is now working on a rock n roll-inspired collection which will feature 100 pieces at prices starting from under 100 US dollars, available from Net-a-Porter. Karl will debut his new collection at Paris Couture Week, after which we should see special pop-up stores and Karl Lagerfeld experience flagship boutiques open around the world. According to Karl, the collection will capture all the essential elements of his style, including fingerless gloves, detachable collars, and metallic jeans. The pieces will be geared toward women in their late teens and early twenties. We cant quite believe that Karl has found time to create any more fashion but we cannot wait to see what this new collection has to offer.
