You may not have been on your summer holiday yet but in the fast-paced world of fashion it\'s already autumn. And if Whistles\' new collection is anything to go by, we\'re ready for the temperature to plummet, pronto.

The first drop of Whistles\' autumn/winter product is going in stores and online from 8 July. Casual pieces - sheer blouses and gingham shirts - will work well throughout the summer months and maximise their seasonal longevity when it gets cooler, peeking out from layers of jumpers and coats. We\'ve got our eye on the playful fuzzy jumper and silver sweater to act as stylish cover-ups, the soft silk peg trousers (autumn\'s grown-up version of summer\'s slouchy harem pant), and the leather skater shape skirt, which we\'ve already earmarked as the perfect day-to-night transitional piece.
