Studded bag, £381 from Sonia Rykiel
When people walk past your desk and start oooh-ing and ahhh-ing at the sight of a handbag on your screen, it's obvious that it's a winner. This across-the-body bag comes from the Sonia Rykiel autumn/winter 08 collection but, luckily for you, and my work colleagues, it has already gone into stores.
As always, the Sonia Rykiel catwalk show was all about fun with a capital F. Modern day pearly queens strutted down the runway in teeny tiny bejewelled hot pants and glitzy tunics featuring diamante illustrations of the flame haired designer. The accessories were tres rock'n'roll - not to mention to die for - with studs and tassels taking centre stage. We love this little offering from Sonia, it's the perfect bag to take you into the new season - rock on!
