Large Bonnie bag, £615 at Luella
Roll up, all you rebels! Turns out you don't need to be part of the 2Tone movement or a ska-loving reveller to dig checkerboard and DM boots any more. Luella says so. Her spring/summer 08 collection was heavily influenced by the ska scene, particularly the accessories.
This white leather handbag is part of the current collection and reflects Luella's obsession with all things Brit. A classic shape and style (this bag is never going to date) is combined with contemporary detailing through exposed zips and the large outsized tassels, which remind us of the kind seen on a Mod's loafers - another nod to cool Britannia culture from Luella perhaps?
