Flag bag, £95 at JC de Castelbajac

There's definitely a French invasion occurring. French clothes, French music, French boys (!) are so de rigueur they make their British counterparts look ultimately stuffy and boring.
The arrival of French designer JC de Castelbajac's new store on Conduit Street, London is a welcome one. The Gallic designer's clothes are whimsical, fun, and definitely not for the faint hearted. His creations illustrate his own tongue-in-cheek humour - not a trait often attributed to the French (aren't we supposed to be the funny ones?!) - but this is precisely why us Brits cant get enough of JC DC's designs.
Here, Castelbajac is flying the flag, not for France but the US of A. Don't worry though he hasn't forgotten us, there is a Union Jack bag too. Made from patent leather with a gold chain handle, this handbag undoubtedly has the ooh la la factor.
