Handbag of the week: Chanel

Chanel handbag of the week

Minaudière, available from Chanel

A Chanel bag doesn't need much introduction or explanation as to why it's great. After all, the classic Chanel 2.55 bag (named after the month, February, and year, 1955, that Mme Coco designed it), is now infamous and one of the most lusted after bags...ever.

This Ox-blood red clutch's shape, it has a hole in the main body of the bag to hold it, has given the classic oblong Miniaudiere a quirky makeover. Yes, Chanel does classic better than anyone, but it is Karl Lagerfeld's hunger for the here and now that keeps the label fresh and tres desirable.
Black and white two-tone leggings with interlocking c's at the ankle and gold glitter dustings down each of the model's middle parting were the memorable fashion flippancies from the autumn/winter collection.
