High street Mecca H&M are opening their first shop-within-a-shop at Selfridges Oxford Street tomorrow morning – so be sure to set those alarms ladies! Promising an exclusive collection of the very best H&M has to offer, there will also be pieces hand-picked by regular guest editors.
First up is Leigh Lezark, Misshapes DJ and BFF of Karl Lagerfeld, who has picked her favourite pieces from the collection for the launch.
"My philosophy on both beauty and fashion is to be yourself and find your own style, so for me the new edited down H&M at Selfridges is an ideal shopping destination. Given my hectic schedule, I can always find something there that works! The curated pieces are, I feel, modern classics everyone should have in their wardrobes – and I have tried to throw in some colour too!"
Expect to see her quintessential New York cool shining through, with plenty of sharp cuts, tailoring and leather. Ms Lezark will be on hand at the launch tomorrow, and will be djing in the evening.
But that's not all! Also exclusively available at the Selfridges concession is the H&M Conscious collection. Inspired by the romance of Swedish folklore, it will use more sustainable fabrics, such as organic cotton and recycled wool, and will feature pieces including embroidered wool coats as well as floral dresses.
