Coast Perla sequin dressIt’s been incredibly hard to choose my favourite party frock from our Hot 100, but there was one dress that I couldn’t stop thinking about and it’s Coast’s black and gold sequined Perla dress from their Limited Edition collection. The wide shoulders, plunge front and nipped in waist give it an authentic ‘40s silhouette, while the sequins are pure Old Hollywood. I’d wear it with classic black pumps with a sprinkling of gold studs down the heels from Topshop, a pair of swingy chandelier earrings, £12 from Accessorize and a neat little clutch from Miss Selfridge, £22 all while repeating the mantra “what would Marlene do…”
