In honour of this heritage, Clarks Originals have designed a Rock Royalty collection of four limited edition boots, each inspired by a different musical movement.
The ‘Union Jack’ is inspired by all things punk. In soft shades of red, white and blue, this boot represents the radical spirit of 1977 as well as a celebration of all things British. If 1960s psychedelia and Sergeant Pepper is more your thing, then the ‘Hainsworth’ desert boot is a homage to the legendary supplier of military fabrics. The ‘Special’ does exactly what it says on the tin: coming straight out of the Eighties, this boot combines vintage ska, rock steady and reggae influences with a cool chequer board design. And a celebration of rock history and style wouldn’t be complete without a little bit of Bowie and Bolan; the ‘Glamrock’ is a classic black suede boot adorned with Swarovski crystals for some added pizzazz.
