October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the stats around the disease are pretty grim: breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, with almost 48,000 women being diagnosed each year. 1 in 8 women in the UK develop breast cancer at some point in their lifetime and sadly today around 1,000 women die of breast cancer every month. However the news is not all bad: more women than ever are surviving breast cancer thanks to better awareness, better screening and better treatments. Fantastic charities like Breakthrough, Breast Cancer Care and Cancer Research UK are leading the field in research and support and it’s easy to help them continue their work. Some of our favourite brands and stores have designed special items to raise money for this fantastic cause and we’ve chosen our favourites from the plethora of pink products on offer.

Warehouse have designed an exclusive pink lace top for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, with 10% of all profits going towards the charity. Lace is a key trend for Autumn/Winter 2011, so look great and feel great in this lovely top which helps a very important cause.
