Those stylish Swedes at H&M cant get enough of cool designer collaborations at the moment, (do we even need to mention Versace-mania?) but the Dragon Tattoo collection is a little more left-field than your average fashion mash-up. As we reported, the collection goes into stores next week (December 14th) just in time for the Daniel Craig/Rooney Mara film, which is released on Boxing Day. Weve already seen snaps of this seriously stylish collaboration; the movies costume designer Trish Summerville has captured the essence of hacker Lisbeth Salanders darkly androgynous, gothic look.
If you are on tenterhooks waiting for both the collection and the movie, then whet your appetite a little further with this behind-the-scenes video of Trish explaining the H&M collaboration. Also, keep your eye out for an interview with top model Sara Blomqvist, one of the faces of the campaign. Now, there is no doubt she was chosen for the campaign due to her incredible beauty. However the fact that her she (almost) shares a surname with Mikael Blomkvist, protagonist of the Millenium Trilogy novels, must have helped, right?
