September is upon us and the weather has decided that summer is officially over, so it’s time to start thinking about jackets. Thankfully, the new season brings with it a host of great styles, including mannish blazers, re-worked trench coats and chic cropped numbers. The tomboy is officially cool again, so we are stealing smart tailored jackets from our significant others, as well as embracing Sixties-style boxy button-ups. There’s no need to layer up with jumpers just yet – the latest jackets are perfect to team with smart shirts or tea dresses, depending on how long the last rays of summer sun stick around for.
