An airport shopping spree with Poppy Delevigne

We didn’t need much persuading when asked to go on a spending spree at London’s Gatwick airport with model, jet setter and self-confessed compulsive high street shopper Poppy Delevigne.

Savvy shoppers listen up: airports are an unexploited shopping mecca. Gatwick airport is home to the likes of Mango, Ted Baker, Monsoon and Shoe Studio, all of which offer huge duty free savings to people travelling on holiday and day trips.

I purchased a weekend-away wardrobe (see opposite) at Gatwick's North Terminal and saved a total of £58.59, compared to buying the same items on the high street. For a regular flyer such as Poppy, who has to travel for her modelling career, airport shopping is ideal, eliminating the ‘last minute panic at home' and giving her the chance to bag a bargain.
