Next launch online supermodel search

Next have launched an exclusive online national competition called Make Me The Next Model in association with Select Model Management, to celebrate 21 years of the Next Directory.

What do Yasmin Le Bon, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, Uma Thurman, Famke Jensen, Naomi Campbell, Jordan Dunn and Noemie Lenoir (we could go on) all have in common? 

They have all graced the pages of Next Directory. In fact, many of the supes listed above kick started their modelling careers through being the face of the high street catalogue.

Now it's your turn. Next are launching an exclusive online national competition called Make Me The Next Model in association with Select Model Management, to celebrate 21 years of the Next Directory.

The competition will be hosted by pop sensation Alesha Dixon and male model Paul Sculfor. They will be overseeing the competition (watch out for their daily Twitter updates) to find two hot new stars, a boy and girl, to model on the pages of the Next Directory and win some other fabulous goodies.

If you think you're a model in the making and want to become the face of Next you can enter by uploading your photos to facebook.com/nextonline. The entrants with the most votes from the public will be put through to the final, with the 50 most popular contestants being whisked to a top secret London location for model boot camp on 31 July 2009.

If all that wasn't enough, finalists will have their hair and make-up done and then get to strut their stuff on the catwalk in front of a judging panel of industry insiders who will decide on the lucky winners.

Also, by becoming a follower at facebook.com/nextonline 200 lucky voters will receive VIP invites to the live catwalk show.
