Victoria Beckham has seen her fashion brand go from strength to strength this year and already rumours are swirling that she has even bigger expansion plans for 2010, including a collaboration with none other than her fashion friend Marc Jacobs.
The two designers recently enjoyed lunch in Paris with LVMH executive Edo Jao, who later tweeted, "Well, hanging with Vic B and MJ is going real well, I think they're talking about a line with fur. Launching pre-emptive PETA strike now."
Jacobs is already part of the LVMH stable thanks to his creative directorship of Louis Vuitton, and Beckham famously starred in the spring/summer 2008 campaign shots for his own-name label - could putting their minds together create a super-brand made in fashion heaven?
Well, yes. Particularly if it has the backing of LVMH, one of the largest luxury fashion conglomerates in the world.
It's all conjecture at the moment but, while neither Beckham nor Jacobs are ones to shy away from controversy, creating a collection based on fur is bound to snaffle them column inches - and not necessarily for the right reasons.
