Fashion comes to the masses next week, as the 21st annual Clothes Show Live descends on Birmingham's NEC from 4 to 9 December - just in time to make all your Christmas style dreams come true.
Promising to be bigger and better than ever before, guests at the event are promised a veritable fashion feast. As well as shopping all the leading brands you can imagine in Shopping Haven (which is helpfully categorised into coloured zones and includes a dedicated Designer Pavillion), there will be live performances in the Fashion Theatre and scouts from Select Model Management will be on the prowl, hunting for the next face to know.
One of the unmissable highlights promises to be The Style Show, located in the Wellbeing Zone, where visitors can relax with a glass of bubbly after a hard day's shopping and mingle with celebrity guests before taking their seat beside the Designer Catwalk.
The Clothes Show Design Awards are also making a return, awarding various prizes and grants for six categories of young creatives, including Young Designer of the Year (in association with Internationale), Young Artist of the Year and Young Handbag Designer of the Year.
Supporting the upcoming generation of fashion talents, as well as proving access to the UK's most beloved established brands, is key to the Clothes Show Live's success, according to managing director Gavin Brown.
"At a challenging time in the world of retail and fashion these awards are even more important than ever before," he explains. "Where other fashion organisations are cutting back, we're continuing to support and nurture young talent to help them make that all-important first step in the world of fashion."
