One print that is set to take root next season is floral, and here Carrie clashes two complimentary prints, a look championed by Dries Van Noten. Always the accessory guru, Carrie teams her flowers with lust-inducing Dior sandals and Timmy Woods Eiffel Tower bag, no doubt an homage to the series finale in Paris.

Roses are red

Not a flower in sight as Carrie dips her toe into this season’s love affair with black, keeping it interesting by mixing up the textures; tactile fur coat, felt hat and killer boots.

Devotees to the show will know that this is not Carrie’s first attempt at knee high socks, but given that they are a massive trend this season thanks to Prada, they make a well earned return for the movie. Has Carrie made you think twice about this tricky trend?

Series three was important for many reasons. Carrie met Aidan, Charlotte married Trey and the corsage managed to find its way on to everyone\'s lapel. Looks like Patricia Field is revisiting the corsage with a vengeance here, but do we think that this one might be a little too big?
