It's here! Fans of the iconic Selfridges department stores can now shop its goodies online. The long-awaited transactional website (it's been in production for more than a year) sells the best of the store's womenswear and accessories, as well as beauty products, homeware, gifts, food, flowers and menswear collections - all just a click of a mouse away. The web-based shop also boasts a number of items exclusive to Selfridges, including a ruffled blouse and studded waistcoat by Givenchy, dresses by Jean Pierre Braganza, Markus Lupfer jumpers and Ashish paint splash tops, to name a few.
What's more, the site boasts a What's On section, where browsers can find out all the latest goings on at their local Selfridges shop, including news, video and upcoming in-store events. For fashion fans there's also a Selfridges blog with titbits of fashion-related info on the latest brands and upcoming special guest appearances in the shops, a trend watch feature and a virtual walk-in wardrobe called the Wish Room where you can mix and match items to create your dream head-to-toe looks. There are also hours of fun to be had in the show scrapbook section, which features, well, digital scrapbooks of all the latest catwalk show highlights with written notes and video, as well as a Selfridges street style gallery of snaps of the store's most stylish visitors.
Go on, take a look.
