If you're bursting with impatience until Matthew Williamson's line for H&M hits stores later this month, this might be just the tonic to tide you over. Pop into his Mayfair flagship store in London this week, and you'll be treated to a glass of champagne, afternoon tea (as long as you visit during the afternoon, of course) and cup cakes from his favourite bakery, Hummingbird, iced to match his spring collection palette.
The Easter-inspired event will be taking place 8 - 10 April, with the chance to purchase an exclusive silk patterned scarf (£150) or a brooch (£145) made up of a series of Swarovski stones, both created by the designer.
Sipping champagne and munching on cupcakes? Surely it's the perfect way to brace yourself for the oncoming H&M madness.
