Model Kate Moss has lent her voice to the soon-to-be-released Lemonheads covers album, Varshons, and the track she sings on has found its way on to the internet. Back in March it was revealed that she was due to sing on the track Dirty Robot by the Boston band, of which frontman Evan Dando is a rumoured ex-boyfriend. The album isn't released until 23 June but the electronic track, a cover of a song by Dutch duo Arling & Cameron, has leaked on to the web and Moss can be heard singing the lyrics, "I don't care for your metal looks, I don't care for your bleeps and bloops... you're a dirty robot." She's not the only famous face providing guest vocals on the Lemonheads' album; actress Liv Tyler sings on the band's cover of Leonard Cohen's Hey, That's No Way To Say Goodbye.
As a supermodel with a fondness for rock stars, Kate Moss is no stranger to picking up a microphone. From her relationship with Babyshambles bad boy Pete Doherty to her current beau The Kills' frontman Jamie Hince, Kate is quite partial to giving her vocal cords a workout. She sang guest vocals on the 2003 Primal Scream track Some Velvet Morning with pal Bobby Gillespie, and co-wrote and sang on a number of Babyshambles songs during her time with Doherty, as well as appearing in several music videos, including the White Stripes' I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself, where she played a pole dancer, and Johnny Cash's God's Gonna Cut You Down.
