Calling all British fashion design talent: Iconic London department store Liberty is holding an open day - this Saturday 25 April - for emerging fashion designers and creative types to pop in and show off their ideas. Open Design Day, the brainwave of Liberty's new buying director Ed Burstell, is a chance for new British fashion talent to show off their design skills in return for handy advice and tips from a panel of experts, including the Liberty buying team, David Nicholls (Design Editor of the Daily Telegraph) and Damian Foxe (Style Editor of the Financial Times). They will be on hand to cast their expert eyes over the designs and the best ideas even have the chance to be created and sold at Liberty. Brilliant or what? From designers of hats to handbags, cutting edge clothes to jewellery, everyone is welcome. If you think you have what it takes and would like to attend the Open Design Day, register your interest at liberty.co.uk.
Open Design Day, 25 April, 10am - 3pm at Liberty, Regent Street, London, W1.
