Liam Gallagher launches pop-up shop

Liam Gallagher

We first told you about Liam Gallagher's Pretty Green clothing range back in June last year, and it seems that the brand is going from strength-to-strength as the label prepares to open its first shop.

From 11am on Friday 30 July, fans can head to London's famous Carnaby Street to visit the label's first standalone store and snap up pieces from the latest collections.

The pop-up shop will sell items from the spring/summer 2010 range - think classic polo shirts, oversized parkas, knits and skinny scarves in the Mancunian's signature style - as well as a selection of exclusive Pretty Green pieces.

The 2,000 sq. ft store covers two storeys with the basement area showing a giant image of the former Oasis frontman perched on a Lambretta scooter on Brighton beach in a nod to the label's ‘60s Mod influences.

At present Pretty Green, named after a song by The Jam, is available online via the brand's namesake e-boutique (which crashed on launch as fans scrambled to buy the pieces) and is stocked in Selfridges department stores, so the Carnaby Street shop will be Gallagher's first real retail venture.

Take a peek at what's on offer in the Pretty Green pop-up shop from 11am on Friday 30 July at 57 Carnaby Street, London, W1.
