Agyness Deyn has been wearing them, as have Pixie Geldof and Little Boots. Any It Girl worth her pins, it seems, is going mad for Henry Holland's collection of hosiery for Pretty Polly, which launched this week exclusively at Selfridges.
Henry Holland who is one of the UK's most prolific up-and-coming designers with his House of Holland label, was signed on by British hosiery brand Pretty Polly to design a range of tights for autumn/winter 2009, made from sheer and opaque fabrics in a range of designs which reflect his flamboyant style. This includes his trademark purple, with a cream rhinestone-encrusted band around the thigh and mid calf, and a style he's christened the "moc stock" which looks like a pair of stockings but is in fact a far more practical pair of tights (as seen on Pixie Geldof, pictured).
Henry Holland, whose daily musing can be followed on Twitter, says, "I feel like I have found my calling with this legwear range - I am now in love with all things hosiery."
The tights, which cost £10 a pair, have been manufactured in Derbyshire. They are available to buy at Selfridges for the next two weeks and nationwide from September.
