It's Mickey Mouse birthday and in tribute his fashionable celebrity fans have designed their own Mickey Mouse ears which are being auctioned to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's charity. The project, My Mickey Ears, is part of a year-long birthday celebration which will take place at Disneyland Resort Paris until March 2010.
A-listers and big name fashion designers have turned their hand to arts and crafts and decorated their own version of the most famous pair of ears in showbiz. Shoe designer Charlotte Dellal, Daisy Lowe and footballer John Terry are among those to get involved as well as Luella Bartley, Giles Deacon and Henry Holland. Each pair of bespoke ears are a one-off and reflect the personality of the designer, Giles' studded spike ears have to be our fave.
