Calling all fans of cult ‘80s flick Fame. Here is your chance to be dressed in fun 1980s fashion, become one of the kids from Fame and re-enact that New York street scene from the film's finale.
High street brand Uniqlo has teamed up with digital television channel Turner Classic Movies (TCM) to recreate the famous scene in London this weekend. Taking place on Sunday 12 July from 1pm, thousands of participants will transform an East London road and the surrounding area into a New York streetscape to act out the iconic dance sequence.
Denise Van Outen and a surprise celebrity will play host for the day, and are inviting people from all over the country to come along and join professional dancers in the UK's biggest ever movie scene recreation.
Uniqlo will be on hand to style participants to ensure the '80s fashion is authentic and everyone who takes part will receive a 20 per cent discount voucher to spend in store from today until 12 July.
The stunt will also be filmed by TCM to be screened on the digital channel as part of a Fame Night on 30 July.
