Spring is here, and with the accompanying change in wardrobe come thoughts of holiday wear. This weekend, Gap launches a capsule collection of what it's calling beach essentials - swimwear, t-shirt dresses, shorts and so on, all in an array of citrus bright colours.
The brain behind the standout collection is Mireille Gindrey, Gap's new head of GapBody, who previously spent ten years at Calvin Klein honing her swimwear skills. The result is a collection which can be mix-and-matched to create the perfect style for your shape. Standout pieces include the sports-inspired colour-block one-pieces and bikinis, which come in just about every itsy bitsy shape you can imagine - triangle, bandeau, balcony, halter, and so on, as well as the floral print styles in lilac, coral, aqua and yellow.
Gap Swim is in Gap stores nationwide from this weekend
