Daisy\'s nipple tassle moment

Kate Moss turned up last night at Dolce club at London\'s Piccadilly Circus, for the Agent Provocateur catwalk show. Sporting her new dirty blonde bob, she giggled in the front row as an assortment of models strutted and posed up and down the black granite runway, later posing with the label\'s co-founder, Joe Corre. Other celebrities in attendance included Kelly Osbourne, Bobby Gillespie and Sadie Frost. Although Moss has recently featured in ad campaigns and short films for the lingerie brand, it was Daisy Lowe, currently the face of the label, who now wears the crown: the 19-year old made two exits, wearing not a lot more than a pair of nipple tassels, and showing off her tattoo which sits on her left hip-bone. As if seeing her breasts wasn\'t enough to get the largely male audience panting, she turned to reveal a pair of knickers cut so low as to create bum cleavage, causing even more clapping and whooping. As an Agent Provocateur employee commented at the over-crowded, raucous spectacle, "It\'s all got a bit crazy, hasn\'t it?"

Gwyneth launches website

Want to receive a mail from Gwyneth Paltrow? Then sign up to her  new lifestyle website, GOOP by Gwyneth Paltrow. Still in its early stages, the site currently shows only a mission statement from the A-list actress, although it promises to soon feature her thoughts on what to wear, cook, see and do. Much has been made on the web about the perceived arrogance of her manifesto. If the tagline, "Nourish the inner aspect", and her assertion that you should "Make your life good. Stick with what\'s real...Clean out your space", is enough to make one - in her native parlance - hurl, then it\'s worth bearing in mind that this is a woman who earns several million dollars a year as the face of Estée Lauder, has a respected career as an actress, is noted for her looks and fashion sense, and has two children with one of the world\'s most famous rock stars. Now, what was the web address again?

Pucci appoints new designer

Matthew Williamson has been replaced as the designer at Pucci, it was announced this week. Following a three year stint at the Italian design house, the British designer will step down after showing the Spring/Summer 2009 collection in Milan this week, to be replaced by Peter Dundas, currently designing for fur house Revillon. The Norwegian-born Dundas is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York. He worked for Jean Paul Gaultier and Christian Lacroix before becoming chief designer at Roberto Cavalli in 2002, following a similar position at Emanuel Ungaro until the end of last year. Williamson, who will continue to show his eponymous label as part of New York Fashion Week, said, "I am thrilled to have worked as creative director at Emilio Pucci for the last three years but the time is now right for me to concentrate fully on my own expanding line. I am happy that the Emilio Pucci business is thriving and that I have been a part of the continued success of this venerable house."

Models take a tumble at Prada

With lace indubitably the biggest style story of the current season, Miuccia  Prada, credited with launching the craze, could have been forgiven for thinking it a tough act to follow. But following the Prada Spring/Summer 2009 fashion show this week, which showed beautifully crafted fabric which imitated the effect of crumpled paper, tongues are already wagging: the  height of the shoes, and the smooth surface of the  the catwalk has been blamed by some for causing two of the models (including Yulia Kharlaponova, pictured), to take a tumble. Cathy Horyn, fashion critic of The New York Times, reported in her blog that "One poor girl came out during the finale, her ankles sort of crumpled [an apt word, Cathy!], and she shuffled back to the backstage area. Painful, in so many ways." A spokesperson for the brand said, "We don\'t have anything to say about the model [sic] who fell over. We are concentrating on the collection."

Harvey Nichols opens in Bristol

Kate Moss, Kate Winslet, Elizabeth Hurley and their West Country compatriots have finally been given the chance to shop locally with the opening of the new Harvey Nichols in Bristol. Located in the heart of the city, the 35,000-foot store boasts three floors of fashion, beauty and food. Dita Von Teese performed at the opening party on Wednesday evening, delighting guests with her famous carousel horse dance, while a bit of local flavour was provided by Grant ‘Daddy G\' Marshall, of Bristol-founded band Massive Attack, who took to the decks for a live DJ set.

Hilfiger pumps up the volume

When music and fashion come together, it\'s a beautiful thing. The combination of fashionable faces, such as Daisy Lowe (who turned presenter for the occasion) and Jaime Winstone, combined with an eclectic array of musical stars was always going to make the Hilfiger Sessions an unforgettable evening. 

Tommy Hilfiger\'s partnership with Sony BMG Europe brought the Hilfiger Sessions to our shores earlier this year after being a massive hit Stateside.  The London It-crowd were treated to music from young up-and-comers The Metros and soul man John Legend, who is set to collaborate with Kanye West and Estelle on his upcoming album. Westfield hype starts to build

Buzz is building around the imminent opening of Europe\'s largest inner-city shopping centre. Westfield London, scheduled to open in Shepherd\'s Bush on 30 October, will contain your high street old-faithfuls like Marks and Spencer, high-end brands like Mulberry, and just about every other label you can imagine in-between. But it\'s not just fashion. The three-level space will devote an entire level to food, with no less than 17 restaurants running along the Southern Terrace. Oh, and if that\'s not enough, some areas will be open 24 hours a day, and there are plans for a 14-screen cinema and state-of-the-art gym to open next year. Getting there shouldn\'t be a problem either, with a new, improved tube station, and a station situated directly outside. It\'s time to start shopping, American-style!
