Dita Von Teese
Not content with being the queen of Burlesque dancing, a Playboy cover star and catwalk model for Moschino and Jean Paul Gaultier to name a few, Dita Von Teese has now turned her hand to designing a range of lingerie for Wonderbra. The current face (and body) of the brand, famous for her retro pin-up look and sexy striptease acts, unveiled her underwear this week, which is inspired by ‘40s and ‘50s style bra and knicker sets and vintage pieces from her personal collection. Available to buy from mid September in House of Fraser stores nationwide, the range features three styles: the Multi-Teese, Spot-Teese and Satin-Teese, with one underwear set including a quick-release magnetic clip to make "daring stripteases a cinch", according to Wonderbra. "I\'ve been passionate about lingerie my entire life," said Von Teese, a former underwear buyer, in a statement. "I am very proud of the range that I\'ve created because it has all the detail of sexy, sensual and glamorous lingerie, but the fit is perfect to wear under your everyday clothes". The Wonderbra by Dita von Teese limited edition range hits stores on 23rd September. Also, visit www.wonderbra.co.uk/dita on 15th September for a sneak peek film of Dita and her new collection. Boots by Thomas Burberry at SoleTrader
With summer seemingly already at an end (indeed, did it ever really get started?), thoughts are restlessly turning towards a winter wardrobe, and the coats and boots that so joyously make up the components therein. One of the best brands for these pieces, in terms of quality and affordability, is certainly Thomas Burberry, Burberry\'s diffusion line. Two styles from the label will this season be stocked exclusively at SoleTrader, the high street shoe store. One, a pair of nearly knee-high chunky leather boots in the perfect shade of chestnut brown (£100), come with a stacked wooden heel, and gold metal zips running down the inside and outside of the calf, as well as a natty gold hook clasp. The other style is a black leather biker boot (£90), with a thick heel, gold stud detailing on the label, and quilting around the ankle. Available from early September in-store and online later in the month, they\'re the perfect way to get started on your winter wardrobe.

Hanky Panky thongs
Billed as the world\'s "most comfortable thong", Hanky Panky undies have a lot to live up to. Beloved by Cindy Crawford - who, as her many sexy calendars have testified, knows a thing or two about underwear - the American lacy slips, which sold out when they were sold at Dover Street Market a few years ago, will be available to buy at Selfridges stores across the UK from 1 September. Founded 30 years ago by Gale Epstein after she gave her friend Lida Orzeck a birthday present of lingerie made from hand-embroidered hankies, the pair have gone on to make the brand into a global sensation, expanding to sleepwear and sports underwear (The Metropolitan Museum of Art has even selected the original lingerie for its permanent collection). Priced at £17 (with a boy shorts style also available, at £26), the thongs come in a vast array of juicy colours, including shocking pink, mandarin and Tiffany blue, as well as your standard cream or black. Made from soft, stretchy lace, they are cut low on the hip, so there\'s no danger of the dreaded so-called whale-tail effect. And, as this writer can testify, they certainly are a dream to wear, comfort-wise.
