Carla Bruni
It\'s not just spring that gets lovebirds going; winter, it seems, is shaping up to be the season of choice for romance. Last weekend, Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein married long-time love and Marchesa co-designer Georgina Chapman, set to the tune of a massive fireworks display. Mr Weinstein wore a custom-made Tom Ford tux, and the Gypsy Kings got the crowd, which included Anna Wintour, Natalia Vodianova and Rachel Zoe, jumping. Over the pond, the French gossip mill went into hyperactivity when former supermodel and chanteuse Carla Bruni, left, was spotted with French President Nicolas Sarkozy at Eurodisney. Ah, l\'amour, l\'amour.

Vivienne Westwood
Dame Vivienne Westwood is coming home. The designer, who has staged her collections in Paris for the past nine year, has announced she will be returning to London Fashion Week next February to show her Red Label collection for Autumn/Winter 2008. Launched in 1994, the Red Label is less expensive than Westwood\'s eponymous line, with a focus on the designer\'s signature sexy tailoring. In a statement, the designer said, "We are back by popular demand. The sales of all of our lines are increasing and we decided that the Red Label, which is successful worldwide and so popular in the UK, should have its own show."

The British Fashion Council has announced that designers Roksanda Illincic, Richard Nicoll (left, with model Ben Grimes) and Jens Laugesen - all of whom work and show in London - have been chosen as recipients of their sponsorship award, funded by Westfield (who are soon to be opening the largest shopping mall in the UK in London\'s Shepherd\'s Bush). Consisting of a substantial cash prize, the award, which has previously been awarded to Giles Deacon and Jonathan Saunders among others, is a way of helping struggling designers make a name for themselves in Britain. "I am at the stage where this kind of financial support can push the brand to its next crucial level of expansion", said Jensen.

Warehouse
Warehouse, whose ad campaign, left, featuring Jefferson Hack\'s girlfriend Anouk Lepère, is our favourite on the high street by far, is this week launching a new e-commerce site, www.warehouseoutlet.co.uk. Updated weekly, the site will offer a mixture of pieces from seasons past, as well as any current and mid-season offers going on in-store.

Girls Aloud
As the country goes schoolgirl crazy with the launch of St Trinian\'s, which boasts Girls Aloud (pictured at the premiere, left), Mischa Barton and Lily Cole on its leggy cast list, hosiery label Charnos has launched a so-called Grade A collection of tights and stockings worthy of the most outrageous school uniform. Choose from 60 denier opaque tights black or grey, or hold ups in a range of colours and patterns, and head to the School Disco....
