Florence and the Machine fans listen up. If you’ve always admired lead singer Florence Welch’s stage costumes – part gothic witch part ethereal fantasy – here’s your chance to design one. Florence and luckymag.com are calling all budding designers to get sketching and submit a costume design in the style of the flame-haired songstress to win a trip to New York.
The winning design will be chosen by Florence, Lucky Magazine’s creative director Andrea Linett and Florence’s stylist Aldene Johnson, who will then make the design into a stage outfit for the singer. The lucky winner will also scoop $500 in prize money plus a trip to New York to see Florence And The Machine perform live at the city’s cool Terminal 5 music venue, where Florence will wear your winning creation. The prize includes flights to New York and two nights’ accommodation at Soho House. If that wasn’t enough, you’ll get the chance to meet Florence and the band backstage and receive a signed copy of their album, Lungs. Luckymag.com will also run a piece about your winning creation and you’ll be featured on Florence And The Machine’s website and Facebook page.
