Talk about a showcase for talent. Prada has hired four of the world's most respected fashion editors to style a window each of its stores in London, Paris, Milan and New York over the next few weeks. Displaying outfits from the spring/summer 2009 collection, which features crumpled paper-effect dresses and python skin accessories, the project is called The Iconclasts, referring to the quartet's renegade eye.
Mirroring the order of the shows in each city, W magazine's Alex White will start the event with the New York Broadway store from 13 February. Love's Katie Grand will then apply her vision to London's Old Bond Street from 17 February, Olivier Rizzo, who works independently with V and Another Magazine among others, will focus on Milan's Via Monte Napoleone boutique from 25 February and, finally, Paris Vogue's Carine Roitfeld will bring her point of view to the Avenue Montaigne outlet from 5 March. No doubt the results will be as individual as the stylists themselves, with the favourite being hotly debated in the fashion community.
