While the fashion world's been busy going gaga over those Jagger girls, another celebrity dynasty has been keeping their superstar in waiting hidden away from the spotlight (at school of all places!). River Island have just announced that Amber Le Bon, daughter of '80s supermodel Yasmin Le Bon and Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon is to be the new face of their spring/summer 2009 collection. Just 18, Amber is new to the modelling business, but her career is in the safe hands of top agency Models 1, who also represent her mother. A spokesperson for River Island said, "Our spring/summer 2009 collection embodies the spirit and restlessness of the '80s, therefore Amber was a perfect fit, taking over where her mother left off."
