Erdem Moralioglu's romantic florals have taken on a delicate darkness for autumn/winter, with moody hues and black backgrounds blooming all over the London Fashion Week runway.
While the designer's signature femininity still runs throughout dresses, skirts and all-in-one jumpsuits, the formerly soft flowers are now powerful shades of lime, purple, red and blue, while the prints scatter over sheer black lace and sharper structuring.
More grungy than vintage, the vibe of Erdem for AW13 is a little more melancholy then you might expect, yet uniquely beautiful nonetheless.
