Kate Moss does Star Trek
Beam me up Mossy. The model goes futuristic in Balmain.
Balmain strikes again. Kate Moss dazzled revellers at a launch party last night in a futuristic, space-age, Balmain dress from the autumn/winter 2009 collection. The model channelled her inner Trekkie in the silver, hologram-beaded ‘bird' mini-dress - so-called because of the wing-like shoulders (major trend alert) - to last night's unveiling of the White Light diamond collection by jewellery designer Shaun Leane at London's Millbank Tower, before heading to Movida nightclub with chums David Walliams and Rhys Ifans. Always one step ahead of the fashion pack, the Supe picked one of autumn/winter's hottest trends - space-age - in wearing one of Christophe Decarnin's designs. But, be warned this trend is tricky. One small step for Moss and one giant leap for everyone else to pull off.
