Katy Perry and Dita Von Teese are among the famous faces to design t-shirts in new H&M charity campaign.

Róisín Murphy and Katy PerryH&M has recruited a host of famous A-list faces to design and model t-shirts for a new charity campaign. The Swedish brand has joined forces with the Designers Against Aids (DAA) charity for the Fashion Against Aids fundraising project, now in its second year. Celebrities taking part in the initiative, which raised £1.2m last year, includes burlesque star Dita Von Teese, singers Katy Perry, Róisín Murphy, Estelle, Robyn and Yelle, as well as NERD, Moby and fashion designer Katharine Hamnett - famous for her slogan tees.

They have all created designs which will be featured on a range of t-shirts, t-shirt dresses, tanks and body tops, which go on sale in H&M stores from 28 May. Many of the tops, which cost between £7.99 and £14.99, feature slogans with messages about safe sex, such as Katy Perry's second design which reads, It's What's On The Outside That Counts.

Speaking of her involvement in the campaign, Estelle said, "I'm happy to be involved. I've seen the effects of what a pound can do for someone who doesn't have access to medicines and even how it can help families affected by Aids. Together we can raise protective awareness and money for a great cause."

The Fashion Against Aids collection hits selected H&M stores on 28 May, with 25 per cent of money raised going to the DAA charity, the YouthAids United Nations Population Fund and MTV's Staying Alive Foundation.
