She's come a long way since Dawson's Creek, this one: via marriage to Heath Ledger (they announced their split last year) and motherhood, as well as a string of critically acclaimed roles in hits such as Brokeback Mountain and I'm Not There (in which she does a brilliant turn as a messed-up Edie Sedgwick/Twiggy type to Cate Blanchett's Bob Dylan). She is always immaculately dressed (remember her in marigold Vera Wang?) - expect some impressive red carpet turns in 2008.
