Marc Jacobs to wed

Louis Vuitton designer Marc Jacobs to announce his engagement at party in Brazil today.

Marc Jacobs is engaged to his boyfriend Lorenzo Martone, it has been reported. Martone, an ad executive, and Jacobs have been dating for roughly a year. The news report in Women's Wear Daily states the pair will go public with the engagement today in Sao Paolo, where they are attending a party celebrating the new Marc Jacobs store there. No wedding date has been set, and no word, either, as to what ex boyfriend and former escort Jason Preston has to say about it. However it is bound to be one of the chicest calendar events ever, if one considers Jacobs' celebrity friend set: Sofia Coppola, Winona Ryder and Kate Moss are all among his inner circle.
