Hermès and Liberty exclusive scarves
Hermès and Liberty collaborate on special scarf and tie project
Just call it the arrival of your prints charming. Hermès and Liberty Of London are collaborating on a scarf and tie shop, which will sit on the ground floor of London department store Liberty for six weeks.
As well as presenting the new collection of Hermès scarves and ties for autumn/winter 2009, Hermès has created an exclusive limited edition range of scarves and ties using Liberty's famous Tana Lawn cottons. Designed by Bali Barret, Creative Director of Hermès Silk, the scarves will come in two sizes, a 70 x 70 cm and a 45 x 45 cm, in six different micro floral prints, each one screen printed with a Hermès ex libris design.
According to Geoffroy De la Bourdonnaye, CEO of Liberty, "Hermès is the ultimate house of real craftsmanship." He added, "The common heritage of Liberty and Hermès makes it natural for both brands to tie the knot in a fashionable entente cordiale."
The Hermès store at Liberty is on the ground floor at Liberty, Great Marlborough Street, London W1 from 7 September - 18 October 2009.
