Kristen Stewart. Surly angst-ridden teen. Reluctant Twilight superstar. Robert Pattinson's rumoured girlfriend. Too-cool-for-school anti-Hollywood starlet. Whatever your view of her, you cannot escape the LA-born 19-year-old since she was catapulted into the media spotlight thanks to her role as schoolgirl Bella Swan in the smash hit vampire romance film Twilight. For those of you who have been living under a rock, in the flick, which is based on Stephenie Meyer's cult books, Bella falls in love with a dashing vampire named Edward Cullen (played by crush and teen idol du jour Robert Pattinson). And it is this role which has cemented her global fame. Whether she likes it or not. When it comes to fashion, more often than not, she dresses like a typical teenager in an off-duty uniform of skinny jeans, converse trainers and a vintage band T-shirt, complete with messy hair and a moody pout. And it's this age-appropriate dressing that endears us so much to her. Her grungy, effortless, couldn't-give-a-damn look makes her cool. She even teamed Converse high top trainers with a Yigal Azrouël embroidered taffeta dress on the red carpet recently and we applaud her for that. Still one finding her fashion feet when it comes to designer togs, she favours Hervé Léger and Marc Jacobs for the red carpet and cites Chanel as her favourite label, while her dream outfit is a custom made Brooks Brothers suit. With the second instalment of the Twilight saga, New Moon, in cinemas from 20 November (the official trailer on YouTube has had more than 16 million views and 16 million people can't be wrong, can they?) we expect to see lots more rocking looks from Kristen.
