In a match made in sartorial heaven, up-and-coming dress line Pink Label London has joined forces with hot footwear brand Charlotte Olympia to create a capsule collection of lust-worthy dresses and shoes.
The range is the brainchild of childhood friends Juliette Offenbach (designer and founder of Pink Label London) and Charlotte Dellal (the design genius behind Charlotte Olympia), who have pooled their creative talents together to conjure up a one-off capsule collection jam-packed with fashion gems.
For the clothes think pretty party dresses in the retro pin-up mould. Strapless, maxi, prom-style, leopard print, leather, pillar box red - we want them all. Even fashion's new darling Cheryl Cole is a fan and was spotted rocking the animal print prom dress as the X Factor auditions kicked off yesterday.
With a top shoe designer jointly at the helm you might predict that the collection will boast must-have shoes to boot. And you'd be right. Using the same prints and materials, the shoes flaunt all the style hallmarks of Dellal's mainline, namely glamorous '40s- and '50s-inspired heels and teeteringly high wedges in leopard print and dove grey tones.
