Miu Miu

True to form the Miu Miu show gave us something different to everything else on display in Paris. The collection had a sporty feel and this pea green satin layered under a laser-cut tunic was the clear winner.

Marc Jacobs delivered a distinctly 80\'s show for Louis Vuitton. This little black cocktail dress with a bridal veil effect at the back captures the 80\'s spirit without being literal.

Balenciaga

Balenciaga continued their theme of challenging silhouettes. For those of us who prefer the simple life where are wardrobes are concerned, thankfully there was a selection of these beautiful twisted and draped velvet tops in gorgeous colours.

Karl Lagerfeld delivered a show full of hits for Chanel, but this pretty chiffon blouse and long skirt in traditional Chanel tweed was a real high point.

Stella McCartney knows how to flatter the female form consistently providing clothes which make women feel feminine without looking too young and girly. This lace detail top and cocoon skirt is a perfect example of why her label keeps going from strength to strength.
