Models
These are the faces that look out at you from the ad campaigns, the fashion shoots and the catwalks.
Not since the supermodels has there been such a strong batch of girls marching the runways and seducing us to shop.
They come from far flung places and their beauty is in their individuality. Move over Kate there are some new girls in town...

Jessica Stam
Although she\'s only 21, Jessica Stam\'s CV makes it seem like she\'s been around forever. She\'s worked with all the world\'s top photographers, featured on the cover of numerous magazines, including a whopping six covers for Italian Vogue, and featured in ad campaigns for Prada, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry and H&M to name but a few. But forget all that, you know a girl is going to be really big when Marc Jacobs names a bag after her (the Marc Jacobs Stam).
coco rocha,model
Coco Rocha
Born in Canada, Coco Rocha was discovered at an Irish dancing competition at the age of 14. But it was a meeting with legendary fashion photographer Steven Meisel two years later that elevated her to the major league. He fell in love with her look and just two months later put her on the cover of Italian Vogue. Campaigns for Balenciaga, Lanvin & Gap soon followed earning her an army of admirers including Naomi Campbell, who recently told Rocha that she\'s her favourite new model.
Agyness Deyn,model
Agyness Deyn
At 21, Agyness Deyn is very much the British model of the moment. Originally from Manchester, she was spotted two years ago by a photographer and has since graced the cover of Italian Vogue twice, UK Vogue and Pop and appeared in ad campaigns for Burberry, Giorgio Armani and Mulberry. With her punky, cropped peroxide hair she really stands out from the crowd, putting the cool back into Britannia.
hilary rhonda,model
Hilary Rhonda
Forget the TV show, Hilary Rhoda really is America’s next top model. Initially overlooked by her home country, it took Frenchman Nicolas Ghesquiere the visionary Balenciaga designer to spot her potential. Since being given his seal of approval, Hilary’s career has sky-rocketed with a host of illustrious magazine covers and high profile campaigns under her belt including Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Estee Lauder and of course Balenciaga
lily donaldson,model
Lily Donaldson
English model Lily was spotted by a scout from Select while shopping in Camden four years ago. Since then she has been anointed as one of the ‘new crop of supermodels\' by American Vogue starring with a group of her contemporaries on their May 2007 cover. Her impressive list of campaigns to date include Christian Dior, Burberry, Jil Sander and Dolce & Gabbana
georgia frost,model
Georgia Frost
Georgia Frost showed model potential from a very young age. She was just 13 when she was first spotted by a model scout but it wasn\'t until two years later at The Clothes Show Live that she signed to Select agency. Now at the ripe old age of 17 she has already featured in campaigns for Alberta Ferretti, Anna Molinari, Burberry and Dolce & Gabbana, and graced the covers of American Vogue and Harpers Bazaar.
model,irina lazareanu
Irina Lazereanu
Born in Romania and raised in Canada, Irina Lazareanu is no one trick pony. At 13 she moved to London to study ballet at the Royal Academy of Arts and is now a passionate folk musician who is currently putting the finishing touches to her debut album, a collaboration with Sean Lennon. Oh, and did we mention that she\'s one of the world\'s most in-demand models? Her distinctive look and effortless cool have earned her an endless list of editorial and advertising credits and the enviable status of muse to both Nicolas Ghesquiere at Balenciaga and Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel. Kate Moss might rue the day that she cherry-picked Irina to model her Kate Moss collection for Topshop. Nobody wants to be replaced by a younger model, and at 10 years her junior, Irina is now rumoured to be engaged to Pete Doherty
behati prinsloo,model
Behati Prinsloo
Namibian-born Behati Prinsloo had never heard of Kate Moss when she was approached by a photographer while on holiday in Cape Town and told she could be a model. Now she\'s touted by many in the fashion industry as the successor to Miss Moss\'s crown. She\'s already become the face of H&M, Tommy Hilfiger and Marc by Marc Jacobs and been photographed for Vogue by legends Mario Testino and Paolo Roversi. Not bad for a girl who\'d never seen a copy of Vogue three years ago
model
Lara Stone
A relative late-comer to modeling, Dutch girl Lara Stone was discovered at an IMG casting in Berlin aged 20 and immediately signed to their New York agency. She rocks the size zero trend by measuring in at healthy size eight, vitually unheard of for catwalk models. She has already made up for lost time scoring fashion shoots in all the worlds top magazines including Italian Vogue, French Vogue, W and i-D and starring in campaigns for Givenchy, Levi\'s and Calvin Klein Jeans. This year Lara was named one of the top ten models of 2007 by models.com so you can expect to see a lot more of this gap-toothed beauty.
freya beha erichsen,model
Fraya Beha Erichsen
Following in the footsteps of Helena Christensen and May Andersen, Freja Beha Erichsen is the latest model to put Denmark on the map thanks to her appearances in high-profile campaigns for Chanel, Gucci, Chloe and Calvin Klein. More at home in a pair of jeans and Converse, Freja remains level-headed about the fame that modeling on the catwalks of the world\'s greatest designers has brought her.
