But it was a meeting with legendary fashion photographer Steven Meisel two years later that elevated her to the major league. Campaigns for Balenciaga, Lanvin & Gap soon followed earning her an army of admirers including Naomi Campbell, who recently told Rocha that she\'s her favourite new model.

She has already made up for lost time scoring fashion shoots in all the worlds top magazines including Italian Vogue, French Vogue, W and i-D and starring in campaigns for Givenchy, Levi\'s and Calvin Klein Jeans. This year Lara was named one of the top ten models of 2007 by models.com so you can expect to see a lot more of this gap-toothed beauty.
