Describe your style.
It\'s graphic and bright and I suppose a bit quirky. Like a young Pat Butcher, when she was still hot and a hooker.
Name your favourite shopping destinations.
I\'m a sucker for a good charity shop, so my idea of heaven is one in a little posh village where I can rifle for hours and then go for scones next door. I have found a few crackers this way in the Scottish Highlands, where my in-laws have a house. If not there, then Liberty. Their buyers are so good, I\'d pretty much wear the whole shop!

What are your favourite brands, and why?
Moschino - the clothes are works of art. I\'m in the Mosch pit as often as possible! Emma Cook is a fantastic British designer who uses colour and print to stunning effect; her clothes are beautiful but not girlie, which I love. I believe Marc Jacobs may have some kind of psychic link to my subconscious, as he always knows what I want before I do. I interviewed Matthew Williamson for The Culture Show and found him really inspiring; he\'s so clever and cool, and obviously his clothes are beautiful.

Have you always liked fashion, or is it something you came to through your job?
I\'m interested in fashion, but I\'ve always been interested in style. When I was about three my auntie, who was a dancer, gave me all her old costumes. Pluse my mam used to make clothes for a living, and would make me fab fancy dress costumes and stuff. There are quite a few pictures of me dressed up as Pocahontas, swathed in feather boas and Boney M. skull caps, and wearing boob tubes as dresses. With that kind of start it was inevitable!

Do you use a stylist?
My mate Alison Elwin helps me out. I keep wondering when she\'s going to tell me she\'s too busy, because she also styles runway shows and ads for some of the most stellar names in fashion!
Has your style changed since joining The Culture Show, and if so, how?
No. Tragically my style has stayed the same since I was about 16! There have been slight evolutions, but no Madonna makeovers for me.

Do you find that people send you lots of stuff to wear for free, since becoming famous?
Yes, frankly, it\'s the best reason to be on telly. Amazing.
Who are your fashion icons?
Debbie Harry, Kim Gordon, Hunter S. Thompson, Iggy Pop and Oscar Wilde, who put it best when he said, "One should either be a work of art or wear a work of art."

What, in terms of fashion inspiration, is your favourite film?
There are so many. It\'s easily one of my favourite things about the cinema! At the moment I\'m revisiting 1991: The Year Punk Broke for fashion pointers.
Are you a shopping repeat-offender, and if so, what\'s the item you buy over and over again?
Absolutely - have been since I started shopping. Over and over again, I go for leopard print, red bags and those high heels that look like ballet pumps at the front.

Do you change your handbag from season to season, or do you stick with one old faithful?
I change from day to day! I recently found this amazing little invention called the Very Intelligent Pocket, which is a little handbag liner with nine pockets for all your essentials - I keep everything in there and then switch bags without having to do a faffy clearout of my old receipts and eyeliners. Fab!
How many pairs of shoes do you own?
I\'ve never counted (too scared), but it must be over 100.

Which pieces from the new season do you have your eye on?
Luella\'s new collection is astounding! There\'s a blue strapless dress I especially love that I may have to own...
The soundtrack to your life would be...
I couldn\'t possibly pick one song, but my own little theme might be Roxy Music\'s All I Want Is You.
One thing you hope to do before the end of the year is...
Get my garden looking as good as my wardrobe. It\'s currently undergoing the biggest makeover of its life!
