Shorts. Two summers ago, no one in their right fashion mind would have entertained the idea of wearing them. It was a denim mini skirt or die. Last summer, courtesy of style setters like Kate Moss in every style of short shorts, and with designers such as Chloé, Alexander Wang and Isabel Marant featuring the cropped length in their spring/summer collections, it's RIP the mini skirt and all hail the new shorts. Worn with bare legs and a gladiator sandal, they're fast becoming an integral part of the summer 2009 wardrobe.
