The 10 fashion commandments
Thou shalt get your underwear fitted properly

The most hidden aspect of your daily attire is also the most important. It's what's closest to your skin, and it can make all the difference to your shape, so get your underwear right. First off, have your bra fitted by an expert (Rigby & Peller and Debenhams provide an excellent service); it's free, and it will change your life, not just your bustline. The point it to minimise unsightly bulges: so, no overspill in the bra cup area; no vpl, obviously. And - we can't stress this strongly enough - absolutely no whale tales (you know, the top of a g-string showing over your jeans). Above all, make sure you're comfortable: no one wants to look at blubber bulges squeezing over the back of your bra, or, worse, someone pulling out a wayward high-cut knicker from between their posterior cheeks.
