Stella McCartney has announced that she will design a collection for GapKids and babyGap

Stella McCartney
British designer Stella McCartney is following in the footsteps of Pierre Hardy, Alexander Wang and Roland Mouret by joining forces with Gap. She will launch a collection for GapKids and babyGap, it was announced this morning.

The children's and babywear ranges are due to hit select Gap stores across the UK later this year.

While the mother of three is keeping tight-lipped on what the collection will look like, she did reveal, "For years now I've wanted to create a collection for kids, it's something I've often been asked about. I believe that children's clothing should be more accessibly priced, which is particularly important at the moment given the current climate. It's really exciting for us to do a boys' and girls' collection for the first time."
