Online boutique net-a-porter has expanded its One Vintage range with a bumper collection of restored, second-hand pieces

If you love the idea of wearing vintage clothes but can't face rummaging through endless rails of garments in second-hand shops, luxury online boutique net-a-porter may have the answer, after expanding its One Vintage range - the site's biggest ever collection of vintage clothes.

The brainchild of Marcelle Symons, one half of the sister duo that brought Paul & Joe boutiques to the UK, One Vintage is a collection of unique second-hand gems, ranging from the late 19th century to the '70s, which are sourced and then restored to their former glory before being sold on the e-boutique. Available from today, the pieces are all one-off designs - hence the name of the London-based brand - with Symons using her substantial fashion know-how and love of all things vintage to rework the clothes, bringing them bang up to date and making them wearable again.

The eclectic and quintessentially British collection (which wouldn't look out of place on festival queen Kate Moss, if you ask us) features lots of silk shawls, hippie deluxe print tunics, embroidered maxi dresses, romantic antique blouses and quirky jewellery - perfect for a summer of hazy outdoor parties.

Holli Rogers, buying director at net-a-porter, said, "Vintage clothing has become increasingly popular in recent years and One Vintage offers our customers the chance to snap up a one-off piece with its own bit of history."

The collection is available online now with prices starting from £280.
